Dr. Robert J. Reier

Dr. Reier graduated from The National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, with a B.S. in Human Biology and a doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine (DC). He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Maryland, receiving a B.A. in English Fine Arts.
Dr. Reier continues to receive additional training and education to sharpen his skills so that he may further benefit his patients. In September of 2016 Dr. Reier attended an international gathering (The Institute of Functional Medicine’s Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) of doctors and health care practitioners of all disciplines and participated in 34.5 hours of training in functional medicine. In addition he has also recently completed Master’s level education in the following:

  • Nutritional biochemistry,
  • Whole food nutrition and supplementation
  • Evidence-base nutrition
  • Principles of functional medicine.

Dr. Reier has been an active member of his community as both a volunteer and as an elective official. He served on the Bel Air board of Town commissioners from 2006-2015, serving the last two years as the Town’s
Mayor. Prior to his elected service he was active with the Bel Air Downtown Alliance where in the same year he was humbled and honored to receive member of the year and business of the year from the Alliance and Town
respectively.

Dr. Reier is an active board member of Healthy Harford​ and also serves on the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake’s Integrative Medicine Advisory Board at the Kaufman Cancer Center.
